Responsibilities include:

• Cleanliness of the dining room (including wiping down tables, taking plates to the dishwasher, changing trash, and keeping the coffee and waffle stations stocked)
• Guest satisfaction
• Clean up after breakfast hours
• May include dishwashing and preparing breakfast on some days

Primary Responsibilities:

- Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

- Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy.

- Manage contract labor relationships and training for contract labor positions.

- Maintain room quality based on hotel objectives, ensuring cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areas.

- Enforce company and departmental policies and procedures, promoting a safe environment and quality service.

- Conduct inventories and order supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels.

- Collaborate with management and team to ensure satisfactory scores with the brand.

Education/Experience:

- High school diploma or GED required.

- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospitality setting.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

- Standing for long periods to inspect guest rooms and public areas.

- Lifting, carrying, and stocking supplies and materials (up to 75 pounds).

- Ability to move furniture and perform duties for supervised employees.

Additional Information:

- One to two years of post-high school education preferred.

- Previous work experience as an Assistant or Executive Housekeeping Manager or similar role.

- Working knowledge of computers and excellent customer service skills.
